Can Delhi Capitals Capitalize this Season??

Delhi Capitals is the only team in the IPL who have not reached an IPL final. Can they change it this year?

Going by their performances last season where they reached semi-finals, along with some new additions to their team, they look all set to take that final leap this season.

Big Buys for the Season:

Marcus Stoinis

Alex Carey

Shimron Hetmyer

Daniel Sams

Anrich Nortje

Newbies on the Block:

1) Marcus Stoinis:

An Australian player who has got a new lease since opening for Melbourne Stars. His change of pace bowling variations and the fact that he can be used a floater in the batting line up, might be the X-Factor Delhi were missing.

2) Anrich Nortje:

Known for his speed and hit the deck bowling. Can form a lethal partnership with Rabada for Delhi.

3) Lalit Yadav:

A batting all-rounder with a unique achievement of hitting six 6's twice in the local T20 circuits.

3 Match Winners to Look Out for:

1) Kagiso Rabada: His pace, fitness and accuracy will be the key along with his death over bowling. He was also their highest wicket taker last season with 25 wickets.

2) Shreyas Iyer: Captain Cool. He would be their pillar of strength in the middle order and how he balances the seniors around him will be the key to DC's success this season.

3) Rishabh Pant: The dashing southpaw will be one of the most happiest person after MSD's retirement. With IPL 2020 he will be looking to cement his place in the Indian Team along with taking Delhi to the glory of being a champions for the first time.

Probable Starting 11:

Shikhar Dhawan

Prithvi Shaw

Shimron Hetmayer
