How Royal will Rajasthan be this Season?

Rajasthan Royals had a very poor season last year. They finished 7th. Can Steve Smith lead from front & help them turn their fortunes this time in UAE. Will Stokes be available for the entire season?

The biggest plus is the availability of the entire foreign contingent for the entire duration of the season.

Big Buys for IPL 2020:

1)Robbin Uthappa - 2007 World Cup Winner and one of the core member of KKR in the past

2)Yashasvi Jaiswal - Star from U-19 World Cup

3)Tom Curran- Heavy performances in BBL and a death bowler for England

4)David Miller- Killer Miller

Newbies on the Block:

1)Yashasvi Jaiswal:

Leading run scorer for India in U-19 World Cup. This IPL could be his launchpad for his future in Indian Cricket.

2)Mayank Markande:

After being traded twice, he would be looking to prove his worth at his new home. Fearless leg-spinner will be aided by the pitches in UAE.

3)Tom Curran:

An addtion to strong English contingent at RR. His handy lower batting along with his dealth bowling powers could improve the balance of the team.

Match Winners for Rajasthan Royals:

1)Jos Buttler:

Powerpack opener and an excellent wicket keeper would want to carry his from English season into the IPL.

2)Sanju Samson:

Like every other wicketkeeper batsmen, Samson would want to have a stellar season to improve his ranking in the pecking order for wicketkeepers in Indian team.

3)Jofra Archer:

The fact that Jofra will be available for the entire season and has the backup of Tom Curran and Oshane Thomas would mean that if he is managed well by the RR team management, he could create take the IPL by the storm.

Exciting 11:

Jos Buttler

Yashasvi Jaiswal

Steve Smith

Robbin Uthappa

Sanju Samson

Riyan Parag

Ben Stokes

Jaydev Unadkat

Mayank Markande

Shreyas Gopal

Jofra Archer

Reserves:

David Miller

Varun Aaron

Tom Curran

Ankit Rajpoot

Prediction:

Rajasthan Royals have a balanced squad but unless 2-3 players have a stand-out season, I still see them fighting for opposite end of the table.
